What is a Credit Union?

TPS Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit, financial cooperative association. We are dedicated to providing members with financial products and services, delivered in a professional, personal and confidential manner.

Unlike other types of financial institutions that need to generate profits to satisfy stockholders, we return earnings each year to our members in the form of:

Competitive dividend rates paid on savings and investment accounts
Competitive interest rates on loans
The addition of new products and services

Your Money is Safe
If the safety and availability of your money is important to you, then satisfying your family's personal financial needs at TPS Credit Union is your most logical choice. Each member's shares (deposits) are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the United Sates Government, for up to $250,000. And, excess share insurance is provided by the Excess Share Insurance Corp (ESI) for an additional $250,000. The winning combination of NCUA and ESI insures share coverage for up to $500,000.
